Even fridges with external filters are a pain to replace, once you have pulled out your fridge and exposed the filter you normally have to cut the cable ties that are securing the filter to the grill or some kind of bracket- then release the water filter pipe by undoing the nuts on the filter, and then as if that’s not enough the nuts have left creases in the water pipe so you have to cut a bit off each end before fitting the new one- What a pain!
