With so many badly made cheap Chinese variants of an external fridge water filter being produced and entered onto on the market it is becoming a bit of a concern as to how damaging they could do- not only to your property if they leak but also to your health.
A Safe top quality-WRAS APPROVED- reasonably priced inline filter has now been produced in the UK.
The latest quick connect integral fittings have been incorporated which is now the standard and latest system of fitting your 1/4" (6.35mm) fridge pipe to the filter.
These injection moulded polypropylene filters are manufactured in the UK, using state-of-the-art spin welding equipment. Spin welding produces a high quality hermetically sealed product. With in-house manufacturing 1/4" push fit. The Hydro + filters are for use on cold and ambient water supplies.
The Hydro +, inline fridge water filter will replace ALL EXTERNAL inline fridge water filters.
All external fridge water filters may look or fit in a slightly different way than each other but the Hydro will replace them all, following the easy installation instructions that come with the filter makes this Hydro filter easy to fit. Being WRAS approved will also give you piece of mind.
The maximum feed pressure is 125psi (8.6 bar), the maximum temperature is 38°C (100°F) and the filters should not be subjected to freezing conditions . The HYDRO+ range is designed for use on water supplies of a known quantity (i.e. municipally treated mains cold water).
