This is a FilterLogic hot tub/spa filter, designed to remove dirt and sediment efficiently. The FIlterlogic SFL-50 can be used as a replacement for the PRB50IN filter, one of the most commonly used filters in the hot tub industry. The SFL-50 is also an effective replacement for the Filbur FC-2390, Unicel C-4950 and Darlly 40506.
This filter cartridge should be cleaned every two weeks and left to dry completely. As such it is recommended to have at least two cartridges for continuous, safe and hygienic use of your hot tub. If the cartridge is not allowed to thoroughly dry or if any cleaning residue is left on the cartridge you will get experience foaming in your hot tub that can lead to skin irritation.
