If you are not sure what the water pressure is, contact an installation expert.\n\u003cbr\u003eChange filter every 6 months.\n\u003cbr\u003eInstallation and replacement procedure for the CS52 Fridge Water Filter:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eDisconnect the refrigerator water supply and unplug the refrigerator.\n\u003cbr\u003ePress the knob at the top of the filter case and remove the cover from the compartment.\n\u003cbr\u003eTurn the filter 1-4 turn to the left (counter clockwise).\n\u003cbr\u003ePull the filter straight out and discard.\n\u003cbr\u003eRemove the protective cap from the new water filter.\n\u003cbr\u003eInsert the new filter into the holder.\n\u003cbr\u003eTurn the filter 1-4 turn to the right (clockwise) to lock it into place.\n\u003cbr\u003eReplace the filter cover back into the compartment.\n\u003cbr\u003eReconnect the refrigerator water supply and plug the refrigerator back in.\n\u003cbr\u003eFlush the new filter for 5 minutes to purge the system.\n\u003cbr\u003eReset the change filter indicator light:\n\u003cbr\u003eBosch - Siemens - Neff - Gaggenau fridges: Press and hold the Water Filter Reset button for 5 seconds. Newer models: Press the Options button until the filter change function is selected, and then press selection button + or - until the filter Change display goes out.\n\u003cbr\u003eWhen to change a filter: There is a replacement indicator message to change the filter cartridge on the digital panel. The water filter cartridge should be replaced when the filter change message appears, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water.\n\u003cbr\u003eImportant: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufactures recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised.
