FAQs

What is the difference between 3 stage and 4 stage reverse osmosis?

The primary distinction between 3-stage and 4-stage reverse osmosis (RO) systems is in the number of filtration stages each system incorporates. In a 3-stage RO system, water typically passes through a sediment filter, a carbon filter, and a reverse osmosis membrane. On the other hand, a 4-stage RO system includes an additional stage, often a mixed-bed DI Resin filter, after the reverse osmosis membrane. This added stage further refines the water quality by using positively and negatively charged ions to attract and remove contaminants that may be left over after the membrane filtration stage to bring the water down to 0TDS.

How difficult is installing a 3-Stage Aquarium RO System?

Installing a 3-stage aquarium RO System is a straightforward process that can be done without professional assistance. The system is typically pre-assembled, and all necessary instructions are included for installation.
