Finerfilters 3 Stage 'Drop-In' Reverse Osmosis System
Stage 1: Polypropylene filter cartridge removes sand, rust, silt and other sediments up to 5 Micron
Stage 2: Activated carbon block is formed in especially pressured, high-density blocks to gain a high adsorption rate of chlorine, other chemicals and multiparticle organic substances.
Stage 3: Reverse Osmosis Membrane removes the remaining contaminants in the water up to 99.9%
This system comes complete with;
1 x 3 Stage RO Unit
1 x RO Membrane
1 x 5 Micron Sediment Filter
1 x Carbon Block Filter
1 x Waste Water Clamp
1 x Housing Spanner
1 x Membrane Housing Spanner
1 x Mains Feed Connector
1 x Garden Tap Adaptor
Please note: This system requires a minimum of 40 PSI or 3 Bar to work. Reverse Osmosis systems "waste water to make water", this is normal and the same with all RO systems. You can expect a pure-to-waste ratio of around 1:3 under optimal conditions.
List of contaminants that reverse osmosis removes
As Reverse Osmosis can remove over 1,000 contaminants, the list below is non-exhaustive and serves to highlight removal rates of only some of the most common contaminants found in drinking water.
