What is chloramine and how is it removed?
Chloramine is essentially chlorine and ammonia mixed together. Water companies do this as chloramine doesn’t “gas off’ like chlorine does. This means it is able to keep the water disinfected and “cleaner” for longer, without the risk of losing some of the chlorine as it naturally gasses off.
