Newton 10" Shourt Mount Filter

The Newton Ultra BSP is an upgraded alternative to other BSP threaded filters, such as the Doulton Short Mount range or filters that require a 10" , BSP threaded candle. This product is designed to purify water by removing a wide range of contaminants, ensuring safety, enhancing taste, and improving overall water quality.

Compatible with Doulton HIP/HIS Housing

Key Features:

• Material and Structure: Incorporates a Ceramic pre-filter shell housing a post-filter block carbon insert, created from a blend of powdered carbon and Zeolite, forming a compact and efficient matrix.
• Threaded Plastic Cap: Equipped with a threaded plastic cap on one end for easy installation and secure fit.
• Scale Prevention (SP) Option: Available to further combat scale build-up.

Performance Specifications:

• Maximum Working Pressure: 125 psi (pounds per square inch).
• Temperature Range: Functional between 4°C (40°F) and 38°C (100°F).
• Optimal Flow Rate: Recommended at 1.14 - 1.89 litres per minute (0.3 - 0.5 gallons per minute).
• Maintenance: Clean when flow rate decreases; replace every 6 months or after filtering approximately 2271 litres (600 gallons).

Contaminant Removal Efficiency:

1. Pathogenic Bacteria: >99.9999% removal of Cholera, Typhoid, Salmonella, Serratia, E. Coli, Fecal Coliform. Tested by AlControl Laboratories.
2. Cysts: 100% removal of Cryptosporidium Parvum and Giardia Lamblia.
3. Sediment:5 micron Absolute; 0.2 - 0.45 micron with >99.99% efficiency (IBR Laboratories tests).
4. Organic Chemicals: Effective against pesticides, herbicides, and organic solvents.
5. Volatile Organic Chemical Compounds (VOCs).
6. Metals: Filters out Aluminium, Iron, Mercury, and Lead.
7. Taste & Colour: Reduces contaminants like Hydrogen Sulfide and Iron.
8. Lead Removal: Specialized in reducing lead content, typically sourced from old lead pipes. The zeolite metal ion reduction medium effectively minimizes lead in drinking water.
