This filter is an EXTERNAL filter that fits on the 1/4" pipe at the back of your appliance.
This compatible fridge filter is the perfect replacement cartridge for use in a continuous filtered water system with American-style ranges of side-by-side fridges, and ensures your ice and water remains crisp and clear for a period of up to 6 months.

Please bear in mind that model numbers may vary slightly and are not guaranteed to have an external fridge water filter connection.
Some filter models, such as the WSF-100 & LG BL9808 may also use screw cap style end connectors.
Installing Your Filter
This filter has built in ¼” push fittings at either end.
- Turn off cold water supply.
- Prepare a towel or bucket underneath current filter to catch any residual water.
- Remove collet clips from old filter & Remove tubing from ends of old filter.
- Align new filter with water direction using the flow arrow. Ensure end of tube is flat and burr free.
- Insert tubing into inlet until tubing stops. Ensure that the teeth grips have fully engaged.
- Before connecting tubing to outlet, flush filter through for 5 minutes into bucket/bowl.
- Turn water supply on to flush filter (3 - 5 Litres approximately or until water runs clear).
- Insert tubing into filter outlet and push on collet clip if provided. Check for any leaks.

This universal fridge filter is a compatible replacement for any refrigerator using an EXTERNAL water filter cartridge which connects in-line, with the water pipe supplying the fridge.
