Finerfilters 10" Jumbo Granular Activated Carbon Water Filter Cartridge with KDF Media.
This filter would primarily be used in an application where the aim is to remove chlorine, heavy metals and VOCs from the water. The activated coconut carbon inside the filter is super absorbent and is designed to remove chlorine odour and taste from the water. KDF water filter media extends the life of granular activated carbon (GAC) while protecting the carbon bed against fouling by bacterial growth. An ideal filter in a whole house system, pond de-chlorinator or other aquatic uses.
This filter has bacteriostatic properties in addition to effectively removing chlorine, lead, arsenic, cadmium and other contaminants that may be present in the water.
This cartridge is designed to fit into the Finerfilters 10" Jumbo Water Filter Housing, which you can find below in the “you may also like section". However, this cartridge is not exclusive to our Finerfilters’ housing and can be used in any 10" jumbo system.
Cartridge life span: 6 months, depending on application and incoming water quality. Adding a pre filter before this cartridge, such as a sediment filter will increase the lifespan.
