The 5 stages of filtration are;
Stage 1

A 5 Micron Sediment Filter Made of 100% Pure Polypropylene Fibres. Removes Dirt, Sand and Rust.
Stage 2

A Granular Activated Carbon Filter Composed of High - Performance Activated Carbon. Removes Free Chlorine, Odour, Organic Contaminants, Pesticides and Chemicals.
Stage 3

A Carbon Block Filter Composed of High-Performance Carbon. Removes Trihalomethanes, Pesticides and Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs).
Stage 4

A High Rejection Thin Film Composite 50 GPD Reverse Osmosis Membrane with the Capacity to Produce up to 190 Litres of Purified Water per day. This Membrane Removes Contaminants Present in Water Including, up to 99% of Dissolved Salts, Lead, Copper, Barium, Bacterial By-Products, Oestrogen and Silica.
Stage 5

A Post Carbon Filter Designed to Improve Taste. It Removes any Residual Impurities and Odours from the Tank and Provides a Finer Conditioning of the Purified Water.

Plastic Water Storage Tank

Made of food-grade reinforced Polypropylene and contains a food-grade Butyl diaphragm/bladder which holds the water, ensuring tasteless, odourless & contaminant-free water.
There is a small air charge between the outside of the bladder and the inside of the tank. It’s this air pressure that pushes the water out of the tank when the tap is opened.
The tank is pre-charged with air but will require topping up as part of the regular maintenance of your reverse osmosis system. Air can be added using a bicycle pump or similar.

This tank can be connected to additional tanks to increase the storage capacity of your Reverse Osmosis system.

  • Holds 6.5 litres of water.

Works well

I have been using the osmosis filter for the past 8 months and have already replaced the cartridges once. The water is clear and there is no smell or bad taste. My kettle and the sauce pans do not have limescale any more.

Prompt delivery and extremely helpful (even midway through a site relocation). You will not find a cheaper unit online from any other brand. The quality is equally matched of a system twice the price. I have low pressure and opted for the pumped version, needles to say it performs as expected. I then added a second membrane housing to reduce the waste at slight expense of higher tds once the product is blended. Really improved my water quality.

Great company great product

This product is excellent and at an amazing price.
Since 1996 and RO system has been a prerequisite in my home. I purchased this unit as I have just moved. Easy to instal with a choice of fittings in the installation pack. Having owned a water treatment company and installed many systems I really know about water quality. Far cheaper and more convenient than bottled water and without the contaminants listed on the labels...eg nitrates.
You will not regret buying this system and it has my 200% recommendation.

Don't go anywhere else

This is my third domestic RO water purifier (long story) and not only is it the best but it is one of the cheapest in its class. It is sold out of a family run business where nothing is too much trouble.
I was helped on the phone to decide the best product for me and it was dispatched that afternoon.
Because water purification is what they do, the web site is unusually knowledgeable and helpful. Also, my replacement filters won't cost a mortgage any more!
I won't even be looking anywhere else in future. My five stars is a genuine assessment.

Excellent price, bit rough around the edges

I bought this as it's vastly cheaper than the iSpring alertnative. Shipping was quick and once installed it does exactly what it says on the tin. I think it would benefit from better instructions. The A4 page was a bit vague in places and left a certain amount to the imagination. A bit more explanation of how the device works would also make it easier to understand how it should be put together. The other than was the the water connector was a bit average. I believe the 10mm pipe is a US standard and trying to adapt it onto British plumbing is a bit of a challenge. The adapter supplied for 15mm pipe came in no fewer than four parts and try as I might, I couldn't get the thing together without it leaking. In the end, I purchased a 15mm > washing machine (which I think is a 1/2 bsp) from Screwfix and used the supplied washing machine adapter to make a water tight connection. Worked perfectly, first time.
