5" Standard filters are predominantly used to take out sediment and particles.

Sediment filters can be used for pre-filtration to help protect sensitive equipment, such as ultraviolet (UV) systems, R.O Systems and pumps to ensure that water is clear of particles that could otherwise block or inhibit the workings of the product, as well as making drinking water more palatable.
