This kit is easily installed and comes with step by step DIY instructions.

The kit contains:

A tap of your choice (Chrome, Baseball, Bobble, Brushed Nickel).

1 x Finerfilters FF-6010PF Inline Carbon Filter with Fittings.

1 x Double Mounting clip to secure the FF-6010PF filter.

1 x Self-piercing Feed Saddle Valve for 15mm mains copper pipe.*¹*

1 x 1/4" Shut Off Valve to isolate water supply when changing the filter.

1 x 3-metre length of 1/4" tubing (to connect to the filter and tap.

1 x 7/16" x 1/4" quick connect tap fitting.

How it works

Activated carbon filtration works via a process called adsorption, where pollutant molecules in the water are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon. Think of the carbon being like a sponge, and it soaks up all the nasty tastes and smells as the water passes through it.

The carbon will continue to absorb contaminants until it gets full and, this is why you need to replace the filter.

We recommend replacing your filter after 6 months or earlier if the quality of your water begins to deteriorate (you will usually start to notice a smell and taste of chlorine again). You should aim to replace the filter after this time period has passed.

**Please note that the Saddle Valve mains water connection fitting is only suitable for standard copper mains water pipes.
If you have plastic piping then you will require a John Guest ASV3 15mm Plastic Pipe Fitting
