Finerfilters Swan_Neck Chrome RO & Water Filter Tap

Purchased this tap to replace an existing one which had begun to corrode slightly.

I was very pleased with it to start with but about 6months ago or so it became very noisy occasionally with the water spurting out of it even when the tap wasn't on. I then would fiddle with the tap , turning off and on until it stopped. Occasionally I would have to turn it off under the sink for a while to cure it.
A couple of days ago I couldn't stop it so I have just replaced it today with a simpler tap like I used to have.
I imagine the problem was to do with the washer or the lever as it wasn'tvery positive.

The system is working fine. Thanks.

Accurate description, good quality, good price and quick delivery. Bought to replace a broken one. Perfect fit works well.

Anthony at Fine Filters was really helpful when I needed to Retun an item which wasn’t compatible.
He tried to find a replacement, however when there wasn’t an item that would work, he organised a refund.
Despite not having a product to suit my needs, Fine Filters have a very wide array of products and I would absolutely check with them when I need any other water filter needs.
Thanks again to Anthony for all his help

Easy to order, delivered on time, seems to be value for money.
Thank you for the item

Good quality and price and excellent service from Finefilters

Tap is better than the one it replaced. Good chrome. Easy fit. Satisfied thanks

Not fitted yet but looks very good for the price

Great product, great price compared to competitors n clear instructions. Definitely recommend

Out of the 2 products I ordered, this was the best purchase.... a faucet tap which looks the part and doesn't cost the earth to buy!!!
Fitted at the weekend and all is working well so far... but time will tell on this.... packed in a plain cardboard box with very little installation instructions.... TBH looks like it came from China etc... but as above, time will tell on this.

The tap was good quality and well priced- unfortunately it didn't fit, but customer service was very good and refund was processed really quickly once I had returned the tap. I would recommend this company.

The chrome platting looks high quality. The water lever has a nice feel to it and an expected flow rate according its position unlike the cheaper push down/lift up ones that are either on or off. The spout swivels smoothly too.

Good looking tap and a good price with clear fitting instructions. It was delivered quickly. Only just installed so can't comment on how long it will last but all good so far.

Good tap decent price very clear fitting instructions promptly delivered so very satisfied
Can’t really comment on quality as only just fitted so can’t tell how long it will last

Excellent product . Well made and stylish.

Old filter tap died/corroded. Had a good look around in t'internet, and do not regret buying this one bit. Easy to fit. Highly recommended. Good service from supplier.

Bought to replace poor quality tap supplied with filter kit.

Great service and great product. Will definitely recommend and use again if needed

Great product. Easy transaction. Arrived on time.

NO worries stuff came though post only two days later Thank you great service

I bought this water filter to match the swan neck tap of my sink. I've had other water filters in the past but this one (for around £5 extra) has hit my spot. The water flow is very good whereas the previous filter took a long time to fill the kettle. I would thoroughly recommend this water filter.

It makes a change to come across a swan neck tap, rather than the conventional 'common' ones, and it feels good quality. What let's it down is not the price (which is a little high) but the fact that like all taps of this type, it comes with a 10mm thread that doesn't fit anything! You are meant to fit 1/4" or 6mm tube (don't confuse the two - they are NOT interchangeable!). As a plumber of 44 years I HATE 1/4" plastic tubing. It never becomes really water-tight. So I have to convert to 6mm copper tubing. Then you have trouble sourcing 6mm to 15mm fittings, and especially 6mm tubing! This tap would be perfect if the stem was 15mm and not 10mm. Yes, I know most water filters are 1/4" and not 15mm, but they shouldn't be! Even a child can easily pull a 1/4" olive off of a plastic 1/4" tube after it has been 'grounded' on! The trouble is that plastic olives DON'T get grounded on - that's the very problem. Copper olives DO get grounded onto copper tube.

Purchased this to replace an existing unit that hadn't lasted well. Seems like a good quality item

Good product use to install professionally

Smart, relatively easy to fit, delivery time excellent. Recommended

Very easy to fit, looks great and is good quality

The item has only been fitted about an hour and appears to conform to the product advertised on line. The standard of quality is good and the the filter tap functions well.

It's only about a week since I installed this tap, so I can't say anything about how long it will last, but it was pretty easy to install. The only issue was that this tap is designed to connect to 1/4" plastic pipe, whereas the old tap that I was replacing uses 3/8" pipe. I therefore had to buy a 3/8 to 1/4 push fit adapter, and a short piece of 1/4 pipe, but this wasn't too difficult, and worked well. The tap works fine, does not drip or leak. The tap claims to have an aerator, which I expected would have meant that the stream of water had a lot of bubbles in it. It doesn't. and I can't see any sign of an aerator, so if this is important to you, I would avoid this. Also I would like to know the make and model of this tap, and exactly what type of ceramic tap unit it fits, so that I can replace it if it fails after some years. Also what type of O-ring it uses to prevent water coming out around the swivel. As far as I can see this information doesn't seem to be available. This is the only reason why I had to replace the old tap.

After buying filter taps for 25 years this is the best 5* ever. Substantial, modern design & quality of metal. One month on we are so pleased we found this - it will be our next buy too! But looks like it will last longer than previous 4 or 5 combined. Design matches out sink swing-tap perfectly. Nothing negative about this at all.

Item found to be of high quality and delivery was fast. Good price
