Finerfilters Jumbo Spun Polypropylene Sediment Filter (All Systems)

Due to the ruggedness and strength of this PP sediment water filter, it is perfect for use with prefiltering prior to various water filter systems. In this application, the depth melt-blown polypropylene is perfect for capturing particles that are 5 microns in size or above. A pre-filter is strongly recommended in any high-volume filtering application to protect the secondary/third filter from prematurely clogging with sediment which then doesn’t allow the cartridge’s full capacity to be used.

Its large diameter of 4.5" allows for more effective filtering of sediment, rust, dirt, and particles from your water than a standard (2.5") size filter.

Capacity: Subjective to incoming water quality and sediment levels. We recommend checking pressure drop/flow rates after 3 months for optimal performance. A decrease in pressure or flow indicates that the filter has expired.

Finerfilters Jumbo GAC/KDF Water Filter (Triple Housing Systems Only)

This filter would primarily be used in an application where the aim is to remove chlorine, heavy metals, and VOCs from the water. The activated coconut carbon inside the filter is super absorbent and is designed to remove chlorine odour and taste from the water. KDF water filter media extends the life of granular activated carbon (GAC) while protecting the carbon bed against fouling by bacterial growth. An ideal filter in a whole house system.

This filter has bacteriostatic properties in addition to effectively removing chlorine, lead, arsenic, cadmium, and other contaminants that may be present in the water.

Cartridge life span: 6 - 9 months, depending on the application and incoming water quality. Adding a pre-filter before this cartridge, such as a sediment filter will increase the lifespan.

Pentek CBC Jumbo 0.5 Micron Carbon Block Water Filter

The CBC-BB is one of the finest particulate filtration cartridges available at 0.5 microns and has one of the highest capacity chlorine reduction of all the ranges. CBCs are capable of reducing 99.95% of Cryptosporidium, Toxoplasma, Entamoeba and Giardia cysts whilst maintaining good flow versus pressure.

Particulate pre-filtration is recommended to maximise cartridge life.

Adding to the CBC’s credentials, the range is NSF Standard 42 rated and ideal for use in beverage and drinking water applications.
