This model differs slightly from the Franke filter I shape and connector. I connected before putting on the steel case and it was not a firm fit. However, I figured that it should work with the spring pressure. I ignored the instructions about flushing it for 10 minutes then leaving overnight before a second flush and just flushed it for 5 minutes as per the Franke instructions. The flow rate is much higher than it was with the old filter, I just hope that it is connected and working as the water definitely tastes better.
