Filter Specifications

10" Drop-In Sediment Pre-Filter

Removes impurities in water such as sand, dirt, rust, silt, and suspended solids down to 5 Micron in order to protect the RO membrane.

10" Drop-In CTO Activated Carbon Block Filter

Removes chlorine taste and odour as well as THMs and other organic chemical compounds.

This CTO filter will not remove chloramines.

DI Resin bag x 2

The deionising resin will attract any charged ions left in the water after it has passed through the Reverse Osmosis membrane, ensuring that you achieve a TDS reading of 0 required for most aquarium water top-ups. The resin we supply with this pack is Tulsion MB115 Mixed Bed DI Resin.

RO Membrane

The semi-permeable membrane removes impurities in water down to 0.0001 Micron including (but not limited to); bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, hormones, PFAs, etc.

Please Note: Membrane performance is dictated by several variables, most importantly are; incoming water TDS levels, pressure, and temperature. The membrane outputs stated above are based on test conditions which are;

Concentration of Solution (NaCl) = 250ppm

Water Pressure = 60 psi / 0.41MPa / 4.14 Bar

Temperature = 25°C

The membrane elements must be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures above 45°C
