Keep water as pure as possible change @ recommended times
- When the filter change indicator light comes on
- prevent possible bacterial growth + build up
- Every 6 months - approx - depending on usage
- If Water flow slows
- If the Ice cubes look smaller than usual
- Unused for more than 2 weeks eg. during a move or extended holiday
- Objectionable taste or smell in the water/ice
Installing New Internal Fridge Water Filter Cartridge
- Twist old + used water filter - Quarter-Turn Counter-Clockwise
- Pull old filter straight down + discard- water may escape - will shut off automatically
- Push new water filter cartridge up into fridge until it stops
- Twist new water filter cartridge - Quarter-Turn Clockwise
- Gradually turn water supply on to appliance
- Flush / purge new water filter - until water runs clear - as with all new filters
Re-Setting the Change Filter Light if on. The reset light is on a 6 month timer and won't go out when you replace the filter. You will need to follow one of the reset procedures below, but please note that procedures vary from fridge to fridge: -
- Press + Hold Filter Re-Set button for 3 seconds
- or Press + Hold Ice Type + Child Lock buttons together for 3 seconds
Light Should Turn Green
Note: If you hold these buttons for 5 seconds - Re-Set process is cancelled.
If this happens, just release buttons and begin the reset procedure again
