Digital TDS Meters - These digital meters measure how conductive the water in a tank or system is to calculate the total dissolved solids inside with 500 ppm as the recommended maximum reading. This will determine how efficiently your RO system is removing dissolved particles from the water.
Float Valves - These valves help automatically stop an RO system from pumping more water into an aquarium when the tank is nearly full to prevent flooding. It also allows more water in when needed. They are an important mechanism for large fish tanks.
Pressure Gauges - These gauges determine the water pressure pushing into the membrane of an RO system after a pre-filter is used. These readings help you decide when your pre-filters need to be replaced so optimal pressure is maintained in your unit. It is also good for indicating if you have the sufficient minimum pressure requirement for the RO unit to operate, and whether you should opt for a booster pump to increase performance.
